Britannica Academic, or Encyclopędia Britannica Online, allows you to search 98,000 articles, including:
  • 7,800 articles from Britannica Books of the Year, Merriam-Webster Collegiate® Dictionary and Thesaurus with more than 200,000 entries, plus functionality that allows you to simply click on a word for instant vocabulary assistance
  • Extensive World Atlas linking users to maps, flags, statistics and more of over 215 countries.
  • Links to over 200,000 related Web sites, selected for content by Britannica editors.
  • Over 23,000 illustrations, maps, and graphics.
  • Sounds, animations, and video clips covering topics ranging from the rainforests to politics.
