CANSIM (the CANadian Socio-economic Information Management database) is produced by Statistics Canada. This database contains over 700,000 time series of Canadian data on national accounts, financial institutions, corporate finance, government, population, labour, prices, construction, investment, trade, travel and industry. Series start at various dates and cover different time periods beginning with the earliest date which is 1901 and ending with the latest received. Some series contain more detail than is published in print form. The use of the CANSIM Database is restricted to Faculty, Staff, Students of this University for research and teaching purposes only.

Please note, as of March 14th, access to CANSIM via the Statistics Canada website is currently unavailable. We will update this record when access is restored.
