IMD World Competitiveness Online measures the competitiveness of nations, ranking and analyzing how a nation's environment creates and sustains the competitiveness of enterprises. It is based on time series data from the IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook, published since 1989. Fifty-eight countries are measured on the basis of 327 criteria. Any combination of criteria can be searched for the past 16 years. Hard data is based on statistics from organizations such as the World Bank, OECD and the United Nations. Soft data is based on the IMD's Executive Opinion Survey. Useful for Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Business, Women's Studies, Labour Studies, and International Studies research.
