Description
The National Film Board is Canada's public producer of English and French documentary films, animated shorts, and drama. The NFB website provides access to hundreds of these films in streaming video. UFV Library has an institutional license for classroom exhibition of these films, including both publicly accessible films, and those marked "CAMPUS." Users may use personal accounts to create their own playlists or edited versions of the film. In order to create a personal account, you need click on the Become a member link, enter University of the Fraser Valley as your school and follow the rest of the instructions.

The institutional license allows the educational, non-commercial public exhibition of streaming video content from the National Film Board website. This entitles instructors to broadcast NFB streaming videos in the classroom. Instructors may also link to the NFB videos from their online courses. The content may not be downloaded, reproduced, duplicated or altered, in whole or in part. No admission or fee may be charged by the institution.
